St. Augustine to Spanish Cay, Bahamas

The trip over took two nights and 2-1/2 days. The wind was in our favor most of the trip - behind us at the beginning, then moving more toward our bow as the trip progressed. So, the swells were rolly in the beginning, and then when we headed up wind, it became quite choppy. This photo was taken of Corrina and her friend, Alexandra near the beginning - during the last part they stayed prone in their bunks!

Spanish Cay is a private island that was rebuilt in 2000 after hurricane Floyd. It is the slow season, and a great time to visit!

Walt Disney World with Alexandra, Corrina's friend from Colorado

Before sailing to the Bahamas, we took a two-night trip to Walt Disney World. Alex hadn't visited WDW for a while, so it was fun to take her to some of our favorite places. We kept her running!

We met some pretty famous celebrities from the latest Pixar film, CARS! Tow Mater...

and Lightening McQueen

We also received these ears as part of the "Year of a Million Dreams". Disney surprises guests with little and some big gifts throughout the parks. We were just about to leave the park, so Alex was a bit sad... actually, she was hoping for cotton-candy before we left!
